BioVitrum continues successfully expanding its export borders - the company took part in the world's leading trade fair for the medical industry "MEDICA & COMPAMED 2017". This year, the event brought together 123,500 professionals from 130 countries. 5 100 exhibitors from 66 countries presented their developments and products of medical purposes at the exhibition space.

From 2^nd to 6^th of September at the Amsterdam RAI was held the 29^th European Congress of Pathology 2017 (ECP 2017). The Congress united over 3,000 delegates from 100 countries. There were about 150 sessions and the poster exhibition, including 1,015 posters in 26 topics. The exhibition space of ECP 2017 was 1010 sqm, with 76 exhibitors from the Netherlands, Great Britain, Turkey, Russia, Germany, the USA, Greece, France, Italy, Sweden, etc. More than 100 specialists from Russia become annual congress participants. 

Igor Sechin told about this on the 26^th of January. He noted that the specialists of the Dmitry Rogachev National Research Center have achieved good results in the treatment of children’s cancer for five years — 80% of patients were saved.

From the 12 to 14 of December 2016 was provided the First ADFLIM School for young scientists and students on the basis of the Federal Research Centre “Fundamentals of Biotechnology” of Russian Academy of Sciences (Research Centre of Biotechnology). The event was supported by the Russian Science Foundation.

The International medical imaging IT company Sectra (STO: SECT B) signed a distribution agreement with BioVitrum to provide Sectra’s digital pathology solution to the Russian market. The solution is built on the same platform as Sectra’s radiology solution, which is already available in Russia through a previous distribution agreement. This joint platform for integrated diagnostics improves collaboration between radiology and pathology, thereby increasing efficiency in cancer care.

From the 9 to 11 of November 2016 in St. Petersburg was held the International Conference "StemCellBio-2016: the Fundamental Science as the basis of Cell Technologies". The organizers of this important scientific event were "Pokrovsky Stem Cell Bank", Norwegian Centre for Stem Cell Research and LLC "BioVitrum". The conference "StemCellBio-2016" was under the auspices of the Russian Society of Medical Genetics.

On the 4^th of October, 2016 BioVitrum held a seminar for bacteriologists in Novosibirsk. Within the seminar were discussed the organizational issues for the bacteriological laboratories work.

On the 6^th of October. 2016 on the basis of the Perm Regional Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases was held bacteriologists’ laboratory council. The goal theme was the ethology of bacterial pneumonia in the Perm region.
