From 2nd to 6th of September at the Amsterdam RAI was held the 29th European Congress of Pathology 2017 (ECP 2017). The Congress united over 3,000 delegates from 100 countries. There were about 150 sessions and the poster exhibition, including 1,015 posters in 26 topics. The motto of the congress – Pathology for Patient Care – was highlighted the added value of the pathology science and discipline in providing care and improving health outcomes for patients and population. The scientific program focused on the central role of pathology and its current clinical applications, translational research, near-future innovations and the longer perspectives of paradigm shifts (integrated ‘omics’ care). ECP 2017 also provided a unique occasion for updating our knowledge in pathology through up-to-date teaching courses highlighting news and views in diagnostic pathology.

BioVitrum participated in the ECP 2017 as an Exhibitor for the first time, thereby continuing its successful experience of presenting Russian products in the international market. In 2016, we were exhibitors at ECDP 2016 (Berlin, Germany).

The production line of the histological paraffin underwent a complete technical upgrade in 2016, which allowed increasing production volumes. Every product batch passes quality control, which proves a high level of quality comparable with foreign counterparts.
