From 27th to 29th of April 2016, in Pushkin hosted the international conference "Environmental and genetic basis of modern agricultural technologies" - dedicated to the fundamental issues of agricultural technologies. The scientific event was conducted by the St. Petersburg Union of scientists in conjunction with the National Institute of Plant Protection.

In March, 2016 Anatoly Zhirkov (professor, the Director of the St. Petersburg State University College of Medicine, honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, the doctor of medical sciences) visited the BioVitrum’s office in St. Petersburg.

Educational-methodical Department of BioVitrum starts its new project - training courses for histotechnicians. All programs are based on modern training methods and standards of the histology laboratory work.

The First Siberian-Ural Conference on Antimicrobial Therapy was held during 2 days (from the 31^st March to 1^st April of 2016) in Tyumen. Within the framework of the conference were discussed the problems and prospects of modern antimicrobial therapy. The event was based at the West-Siberian Innovation Center and brought together scientists and doctors from Germany, Great Britain and Russia. 

On February, 2016 at the Center of Collective Use "Centre of Genetic Resources of Laboratory Animals on the SPF-vivarium basis of the Institute of Cytology and Genetics Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICG SD of RAS)", in Novosibirsk was the first in Russia installation of the 3D hybrid system of optical imaging and computer tomography InSyTe™ FLECT/CT.

On the 29^th of February and 24^th of March, 2016 BioVitrum held a series of seminars entitled "The technology of laser light scattering in clinical microbiology: a practical experience of Russian and foreign laboratories". The seminars were in two federal cities: Moscow and St. Petersburg.

On the base of the National Oncology Center in Groznii was launched a new histological laboratory with modern specialized equipment, that allows to detect cancer quicker and more efficiently. The National Oncology Center is a modern medical-diagnostic facility providing specialized cancer care in the Chechen Republic.

Within two months, in February and March, 2016 BioVitrum organized a series of seminars on imaging: "Latest trends of preclinical in vivo imaging" in several Russian cities.

During 4 days, from the 1^st till 4^th of March, 2016 in Moscow was held the International exhibition of equipment and technologies for livestock farming, dairy and meat production “Milk and Meat industry”. 

HeadHunter and RBC (news and business media company) presented the 6^th annual ranking of Russian employers, which includes companies with the best work conditions.
