From February 28 to March 3 in Tomsk, the BioVitrum company conducted training on working with the GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler. The lecturers were specialists from the NanoString company and Kira Pavlova, a leading specialist in Oncodiagnostics at BioVitrum LLC. The training took place as part of the equipment project at the Nanostring Center at the Siberian State Medical University.

In 2020, BioVitrum made a strategic decision to build a new production complex. Within the framework of the Baltic Regional Investment Forum BRIEF'20, the Investment Agreement was concluded with the Government of the Leningrad Region “On the favorable treatment in the process of project implementation”. The new manufacture of the company will be located in the Leningrad region, near St.-Petersburg. 

On September 20 and 21, 2021, the School with international participation “Lymphomas. Bone tumors. Thyroid pathology. Morphological and immunohistochemical diagnostics" took place in Tashkent. The event was organized by the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology and the BioVitrum company, with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On November 12 and 13, 2021, two events were held in Krasnodar at once, organized by the BioVitrum company together with the Research Institute - Regional Clinical Hospital No.1 prof. S.V. Ochapovsky ". The school-seminar "Morphology of liver and bile duct diseases" united pathologists from all over Russia. Within the framework of the school, a seminar for laboratory technicians "Ways to improve the efficiency of the histological laboratory" was held. The events were held under the auspices of the Russian Society of Pathologists.

The BioVitrum company has completed the implementation of a pilot project on Digital Pathology in the Chelyabinsk region (Russia). On the basis of City Clinical Hospital No. 1, Chelyabinsk, there was installed a hardware and software complex, consisting of the Sectra system and the Hamamatsu NanoZoomer scanner. Sectra will combine digital streams of slides not only from the City Clinical Hospital, but also from the regional Pathology Bureau and the Chelyabinsk Oncology Center.

The Government of the Russian Federation has expanded the list of products that are subject to the “extra third” rule from Decree No. 102 of February 5, 2015.

From 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation will begin to fine for failure to achieve the share of government purchases of domestic medical products.

September 19, 2019 the Far Eastern Conference "Actual Issues of Modern Laboratory Diagnostics" was held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The event was attended by about four dozen specialists of clinical and bacteriological laboratories of the region.
