On February 8 Nikon microscopes were featured in the title role on Channel 2, one of Russia’s main national TV channels. 

For the second year the Federal Scientific-Clinical Center (FSCC) is a platform for this scientific-practical conference on pathology with international participation.  Today FSCC is a unique center in Russia in which medical care to children can be rendered at an advanced level, and it is simultaneously a center of scientific life for Russian medicine. We were glad to welcome numerous participants to this conference.

On October 17 in the Federal Scientific-Clinical Center of children's hematology, oncology and immunology together with the Russian Ministry of Health a practical seminar took place on the automated methods of IHC diagnostics.

On October 12th in Pushchino at the Institute of Biophysics, a branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the seminar “Modern methods in optical microscopy” took place.

On October 17, 2012 in the Federal Scientific-Clinical Center of Children’s Hematology, Oncology and Immunology (Moscow), Russia’s Ministry of Health met with users of Sakura Tissue-Tek Xpress.

This congress took place from August 20-26, 2012 at the Nizhniy-Novgorod State University with international participation.

On 26 July 2012 BioVitrum celebrated its 11^th birthday.  We spent the occasion with the whole team from around Russia.  We thank the entire staff of BioVitrum and all of our international partners for a great 11 years.  We hope to continue our success.  The best is yet to come!

On June 27-28, 2012 in St. Petersburg the ALL-RUSSIAN PRACTICAL-SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE on medical microbiology and clinical mycology (XV Kashkinsky lectures) took place at the Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education.  This annual conference is part of the development measures of the Russian Ministry of Health.  There were about 500 international and Russian participants including regional specialists, university instructors, and laboratory managers from all regions of Russia.

This plenum took place May 15-17, 2012 in Nizhniy Novgorod.  It was a very important event for its field. Participants of this event were non-staff specialists in pathologic anatomy, oncologists of the Russian Ministry of Health, leaders of pathoanatomical establishments and subdivisions, and also scientists and doctors of public health centers.
