BioVitrum starts its new project — training courses of additional medical education for histotechnicians and histologists

Educational-methodical Department of BioVitrum starts its new project - training courses for histotechnicians. All programs are based on modern training methods and standards of the histology laboratory work.

The courses are primarily intended for histotechnicians, histologists, medical technologists and laboratory technicians (paramedic laboratory technicians), for specialists who work with histological slides. These courses are designed to improve the level of vocational training and qualifications in "Histology" and "Laboratory diagnosis".

The important features of these courses are in specialization, giving the maximum extent of knowledge and skills on specific themes, and in practical orientation: for each topic not only theoretic classes and lectures are conducted, but also special practical sessions for improving skills.

Training facilities of additional medical education courses are: Medical College of St. Petersburg State University; St. Luke's Hospital; The National Center for Clinical morphological diagnosis. Also, a number of activities take place in the special equipped training class of BioVitrum.

Among the training course materials - a great collection of different histological slides of high quality, allowing visually parse and examine the complicated clinical cases.

To date, the several courses of the first spring semester-2016 have been successfully completed.

The first courses had a great interest among the audience because within the training were held workshops on all stages of the histological process on the modern equipment and reagents. This approach is markedly different from usual training method with publicly available theoretical knowledge, often not backed up by practice. Participants showed a huge involvement in the learning process, they asked many clarification questions and found out for themself a lot of new - some of the views were completely revised.
