BioVitrum Installs Nikon Equipment in Leading IVF Laboratory

BioVitrum recently installed Nikon microscopes in the laboratory of ORIGIO (St. Petersburg, Russia), which is a world leader in the field of auxiliary reproductive technologies, in-vitro fertilization, and one of the guiding centers of Russia for the instruction of embryologists.  Now all trainings and IVF education which will happen at this laboratory will be performed using Nikon equipment.

BioVitrum and Nikon establish first innovative Nikon N-STORM system in Russia with practical seminar “Nikon N-STORM: Super-resolution Microscopy”

On March 22 the Nizhniy-Novgorod state medical academy (NGMA) threw open its doors for the participants of a practical school-seminar “Nikon N-STORM: Super-resolution Microscopy”. This N-STORM installation is the first of its kind in Russia.  16 N-STORM systems have already been established at the leading medical institutions of Europe, and now this year the possibility to conduct studies on this innovative equipment is possible for Russian scientists as well.

BioVitrum Enters CIS Mortuary Market

In 2011, BioVitrum completed the re-equipping of the Republican tuberculosis hospital "Machiton" in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. This took place in the pathoanatomic department and the installation of specialized NTC mortuary equipment from Hygeco (France) was successfully completed.

BioVitrum has been having successful experiences in the CIS countries. Projects have been implemented in Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.

BioVitrum Participates in Practical Seminar “The Modern Histology Laboratory”

On 25 October in the "Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1 of Prof. S. Očapovskogo" in Krasnodar, Russia BioVitrum took part in a regional seminar-workshop entitled "Modern histology laboratory. The event was held with the support of the provincial health department and in conjunction with the regular Assembly of pathologists of the Krasnodar region. Participation in the seminar was attended by more than 60 heads and senior laboratory technicians in the region.

This congress of the Association of Clinical Cytology of Russia is one of the most iconic professional activities in the industry, which traditionally brings together professors, specialized physicians, and clinical diagnostic laboratories to discuss various aspects of cytological diagnosis. This year's event was attended by approximately 300 specialists from all over Russia.
