BioVitrum participates in forensic medical conference

On May 17-18 BioVitrum participated in an international practical-scientific conference titled “vital problems of forensic medical examination”.  The main organizers of the conference were the 1st Moscow state medical university and the Russian center of forensic medical examination.

Those who participated were forensic medical experts and instructors from some of the main forensic medicine departments of Russian institutes of higher education, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Health, leaders of the judicial-expert establishments of the Justice Department, MVD, Ministry of Defense and the FSB, representatives of foreign forensic medical expert organizations, and also commercial organizations - suppliers of equipment and consumables.

This conference was a very important event for its branch. At the sessions more than 60 reports were given and it was possible to discuss questions about the organization of forensic medical service and teaching of forensic medicine in Russia. The chief Russian and foreign specialists shared their scientific achievements and practical experience on these questions.

 Marcin Konior, head of international sales at Hygeco (FR), gave a report on the latest trends of equipping forensic centers and his experience on realized projects.  His appearance sparked great interest in Russian specialists and representatives of CIS countries.

At the conference active contemporary equipment and new technologies for conducting forensic medical examinations was presented at an exhibition. On BioVitrum’s stand participants could pose questions concerning cooling chambers and the transport-lift carts, sectional tables and equipment for dissections, specialized furniture, and the means of hygienic protection on equipment. 

It proved to be a very valuable conference. For participants it was possible to discuss the vital problems of forensic medical service, to be introduced to the achievements of foreign centers and to share their own experiences with associates.
