2. Report

Marina Rumyantseva gave the report "contemporary methods of diagnostics and determining the antibiotic sensitivity of intra-hospital infection agents". This report focused on virus and bacterial intestinal infections, in which the need for the combination of the principles of express-diagnostics and screening together were emphasized with the use of antibiotics and infection control. During the report the innovative methods of diagnosing the most significant intra-hospital pathogens were represented based on the examples of Oxoid reagents, such as chromogenic media, MICE strips, express-test systems, and also i2a analyzers.
