The VII Plenum of the Russian Society of Pathologists took place in Volgograd on 23^th and 24^th of May, 2014.

On 20^th and 21^th of May 2014 BioVitrum organized and held the seminar on cytology of cervix uteri, which took place at the European Medical Center in Moscow.

The international symposium “Biological mobility: new facts and hypothesis” was hold in Puschino from 12^th till 14^th of May 2014. It was devoted to 110 birthday of academician G.M. Frank. The organizers of this scientific event were the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Puschino Scientific Centre, the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics the RAS,  the Institute of Cell Biophysics the RAS.

The research and practical conference of young scientists “From epidemiology to diagnosis of infectious diseases: approaches, traditions, innovations” took place in Saint-Petersburg from 23 till 25 April, 2014.

This year the scientific event was a part of the Bioforum 2014 – practical, debating  and teaching platform in Biology. International conference “Biology - the science of XXI century” is one of the biggest events for the young scientists in Russia. There were registered  about thousand Ph.D. candidates and students of biological universities almost from all regions of Russia,   neighboring countries and beyond (Armenia, Belorussia,  Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany, China, USA, Finland, France).

The event took place on April 11 and was devoted to the organization of bacteriiological laboratories. It was attended by about 70 bacteriologists from medical institutions in Rostov-on -Don and the Rostov region.

The conference was held on 1-2 April at the Institute of Biomedical Technologies, Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy.

On 25-27 March in the Biology department of MSU the program was presented with lectures by leading European specialists of Andor Technology.

The meeting was held on March 27 in order to improve the diagnostics and quality of microbiological research in bacteriological laboratories.
