BioVitrum took part in the international symposium “Biological mobility: new facts and hypothesis”

The international symposium “Biological mobility: new facts and hypothesis” was hold in Puschino from 12th till 14th of May 2014. It was devoted to 110 birthday of academician G.M. Frank. The organizers of this scientific event were the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Puschino Scientific Centre, the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics the RAS,  the Institute of Cell Biophysics the RAS.

BioVitrum participated in the symposium with the report of Anna Spirina, the microscopy product specialist. The report was “DSD2 – simple confocal system: an innovative hybrid of spinning disk technology and structured illumination.” Also BioVitrum hold a workshop “Horizons of confocal microscopy” which was visited by more than 30 scientists.

During workshop the participants were demonstrated operations of Andor Revolution DSD2 confocal system. They got an opportunity to perform experiments by themselves with their own samples. Scientists highly appreciated the quality of getting images.
