The third conference of RSP and specialized equipment exhibition took place at the premises of Samara State Medical University on 26 – 30 May 2009.

BioVitrum was the General sponsor of the event; Rosh Moscow was the Title one.

Kees Jan Guit, Development Manager of Histology Equipment Department in CIS from Sakura (the Netherlands) visited the conference. He was of much help at preparing presentations on automated tissue processing technology Tissue-Tek® Xpress™ Х120 and Tissue-Tek® Xpress™ Х50. Mr.Tsimberg V.V., BioVitrum's General Director presented the technologies at one of the plenary meetings.

The conference program included: pathologists' and morphologists' reports on new technologies, elections of a new RSP presidium, re-elections of RSP president (Mr. Kakturskiy L.V was elected), and morbid anatomy standards discussion and approval.

More than 200 qualified Russian specialists visited Samara's event. One should express many thanks to the principal conference organizers, i.e. Mr. Lev (Vladimirovich) Kakturskiy, RSP President and Ms. Tatyana (Alexandrovna) Fedorina, the Head of Histology and Embryology Department at the Samara SMU.
