BioVitrum and Bio-Rad Laboratories organized and held a seminar "The protein electrophoresis - quickly without staining". The event was held on the 10^th of September 2015 in Petrozavodsk at the Institute of High Biomedical Technologies of the Petrozavodsk State University.

As a part of the program was presented modern solutions for electrophoresis process and for quality control using TGX Stain Free technology.

For the seminar participants was demonstrated the operation system V3 Western Workflow - a five-speed system for optimization all phases of Western blotting, from protein separation to quantitative analysis.

Equipment technological possibilities were dismantled in detail:

 

• electrophoretic proteins separation in 15 minutes using precast gels Bio-Rad with unique TGX Stain-Free technologies;
• proteins transfer to the membrane for 3 minutes using the dry blotting Trans-Blot Turbo system;
• quality check of results at each stage using Stain-Free technology, which takes no more than 1 minute;
• blots validation and quantitative analysis of using equipment for visualization and gel documentation.

                   

Second part of seminar was dedicated to the multiplex analyses modern methods. 

              

The seminar had a great interest of the heads of laboratories, researchers and teachers. The event took place in a lively atmosphere of active debate issues and exchange of experiences.
