During 4 days, from the 1^st till 4^th of March, 2016 in Moscow was held the International exhibition of equipment and technologies for livestock farming, dairy and meat production “Milk and Meat industry”. The annual exhibition has established itself as the leading business event for demonstration of achievements and technologies for agriculture full production cycle: from the breeding animals’ reproduction, their raising, maintenance and feeding to the processing and packaging of animal products: for dairy and for meat industry. The event is actively supported by the Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture.

      

The event covers the full meat and dairy lifecycle, and unities international and domestic food and drink producers with Russia’s key distributors, wholesalers and retailers. In 2016, the exhibition was attended by 244 companies from 19 countries, that confirmed again its strategic importance for the dairy and meat industries in Russia. 35 companies from Russia and foreign countries took part in this exhibition for the first time. The growing interest in this event demonstrates the positive changes in these industries. Companies are seeking for modernization their production and increase efficiency by using technical and technological innovations.

Traditionally, the exhibition "Milk and meat industry" had an extensive business program: Dairy and Meat Forum, comprising 27 events with the participation of 198 speakers from 32 regions of Russia.

 

 

The forum began with a plenary session "Development of the beef stock-raising industry", which was opened by Yevgenii Gromyko, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. He noted the increase of the Russians own production volume from critical 60% to 95% over the past 10 years.

 

 

 

 

 

BioVitrum took part in the exhibition "Dairy and meat industry" for the second time. This year the company demonstrated its product portfolio for the sanitary quality control in the food industry. On the booth was represented the Unique system PathoProof™ Mastitis PCR Assay, Thermo Fisher Scientific for the mastitis pathogens diagnosis in milk of cows in 4 hours.
