On January 30-31 in Madrid, Spain Leica Biosystems held a meeting of their MESA distributors. This unit combines the countries of South America, Africa, the Arab countries and Russia/CIS countries. At the meeting, the leaders of Leica Biosystems summed up and discussed topical issues with their distributors of these regions.  After completing the formal part of the meeting Leica presented commemorative statues to winners of various awards. BioVitrum was represented by its senior specialist in Telepathology, Victor Bovin. Leica presented Victor with the award for best sales of Aperio in 2013. BioVitrum is the recognized leader in the procurement and sales of scanners in the area of Aperio MESA.  BioVitrum was not the only winner from Russia, Bioline won the award for best Bond sales in 2013.
