BioVitrum participated in the practical-scientific conference “Actual Questions of Medical-Criminological Examinations: Current Situation and Prospects for Development”

The conference took place from 27-29 March in Moscow at MONIKI and it was dedicated to the 50 year anniversary of the city’s main medical criminology department. 

It gathered together specialists in the field of medical criminology and related specialties to consider the contemporary state, problems and prospects for the development of medical-criminological examinations and scientific research.  There were more than 200 participants from Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, Germany and Mongolia.

Organizational and systematic questions of conducting medico-criminological examinations were brought up at the conference, as were questions on teaching forensic medicine, including the problem of post-graduate training of forensic medical experts.

39 reports were heard at the plenary meetings on March 27-28, and at the round table on March 29 participants in the conference shared their practical experience and scientific achievements in medical criminology.

At the conclusion of the program all the participants noted the high level of organization, the relevance of the themes of the reports, and thecreative and friendly atmosphere of the event.
