BioVitrum participated in the International congress on neurosciences.
From 19th till 21th of June 2014 the International congress on neurosciences took place at the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University.
More than 300 neurosciences specialists from Japan, Canada, USA, Finland and Russia gathered to discuss new approaches to treatment of central nervous diseases, to diagnosis and recovery cerebrum developmental disability. The purpose of the scientific event was to introduce up-to-date research technologies in neurosciences and neurovisualization and to increase efficiency of its’ adoption in clinical practice.
BioVitrum reported about Super Resolution Optical Systems: imaging beyond the diffraction limit and presented N-STORM microscope system (Nikon). This system is capable of multi-spectral two-dimensional and three-dimensional nanoscopy with lateral resolution, which let to extend opportunities optical microscopes almost to molecular level.
Rimkevich Sergey, the microscopy product specialist of BioVitrum Ltd, held a work-shop and demonstrated the confocal system - Revolution DSD2 (Andor). This system uses the spinning disk technology and structured illumination to achieve the optical sectioning and image quality with high-speed processing. The participants knew advantages of this system and got an opportunity to perform experiments by themselves with their own samples and compare results.
BioVitrum thanks for the opportunity to take active part in this scientific event.
