On 16^th of December, 2014 BioVitrum hold a seminar for bacteriologists which gathered about 20 microbiology specialists from Saint-Petersburg, Leningrad and other regions of Russia.

The goal themes were modern bacteriological laboratory equipment, process automation of bacteriological analysis and own production medium of “Sredoff”.

CEO of “Sredoff”, Kovivchak Nazariy, presented the production, equipped with modern measuring, metering and sterilizing relevant international standards equipment. He told about a constant control of sterility, temperature and humidity indoors. Sredoff offers not only high quality raw Oxoid products, but the technology: international standards laboratory, a special production technology, special packing, strict quality control.

The second part of the seminar was devoted to bacteriological analysis automation equipment.

There were presented:

• Automated bacteriology analyzer VersaTREK for sterility blood cultures and other body fluids determination;
• Bacteriology analyzer Sensititre and automated analyzer Mindray TDR-300B for microbial identification and antibiotic susceptibility;
• The whole list of modern laboratory equipment: laminar flow bench, microbiological incubator, low-temperature freezer, cryopreservation equipment, laboratory balance and etc.

 

Within the practical part of the seminar BioVitrum demonstrated the OXOID and Remel products showing its advantages, quality and ease of Use.
