BioVitrum organized and held the seminar "New techniques and products for clinical microbiology"
The seminar took place on September 24, 2015 at BioVitrum's headquarters in St. Petersburg. The event gathered more 20 experts from the bacteriological laboratories of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, as well as other cities of Russia.
The main themes of the program were the routine processes automation in the bacteriological laboratory. Also the use of ready-culture media of "Sredoff was dismantled in detail.
Within the framework of the seminar were discussed:
- Microbiology Laboratory Automation with bioMerieux
- Rapid methods of diagnosis and antibiotic susceptibility determination by using ready-media of "Sredoff”
- Laboratory informational systems for Microbiology of BioVitrum’s own production
- Review of the Alifax analyzer for Microbiology
- advantages and technical capabilities of Miele washing equipment
On the seminar there was a products demonstration and detailed consultation of Thermo Fisher Scientific (OXOID, Remel).
