BioVitrum hold several seminars “New era in preclinical 3D in vivo imaging”

    BioVitrum hold 3 seminars on tomography “New era in preclinical 3D in vivo imaging” at the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Northwestern Federal Medical Research Center in St. Petersburg, at Pirogov Medical University and at Biotech business incubator of the Moscow State University.

    Speakers presented cutting-edge multimodal systems for preclinical research of TriFoil Imaging (USA). Lectors demonstrated tomography advantages - unique technology with high quality results by CT, MRI, SPECT, PET and 3D optical tomography methods. Also there was a lecture about equipment for laboratory animals’ research from Metris.

     Within the framework of the seminars were discussed the following themes:

- Bringing the age of digital detection to medical imaging technology - Vadims Vakarjuks (commercial director of GenMedica Baltic SIA);

 - Principles and state of the art of the selected imaging systems (CT, MR, SPECT, PET, FLECT)- Jurijs Dmitrijevs (head of Sales of preclinical imaging system GenMedica Baltic SIA);

- Common applications in research aspects of Tumor, Cardiac, Neuro, Rheumatology and other - Joann Zhang (chief scientist of TriFoil Imaging);

- Innovations in vivarium and preclinical research equipment - Levon Bachdasarian (Technical Manager of Metris B.V.).
