From January 14 to February 2 2013 in the Federal State Budgetary Institution of obstetrics and gynecology, the Russian Academy of Medical Science held a professional development course "Auxiliary reproductive technologies (specialization for embryology)"

The main subjects of the course included: ovary and sperm genesis in humans, development of an implanted embryo, and fertilisation and implantation mechanisms; legal aspects of the activity of a reproductive technology clinic; quality control, equipment and the increase of productivity of a reproductive technology laboratory; infertility: the reasons, algorithms of inspecting infertility. 

Specialists of Biovitrum Sergey Rimkevich (microscopy) and Anastasia Vaganova (cellular and molecular biology) gave a presentation about products for laboratory diagnostics in the sphere of auxiliary reproductive medicine, namely on Nikon microscopes and molecular and biological methods of analysis with the products of Luminex and NIM Genetics. The wide range of presented products is intended for auxiliary reproductive technologies, and also early diagnostics of congenital diseases. 

We are proud that Russian embryologists are trained on Nikon microscopes, which is recognized around the world as the gold standard for in-vitro fertilization.
