In March, 2016 Anatoly Zhirkov (professor, the Director of the St. Petersburg State University College of Medicine, honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, the doctor of medical sciences) visited the BioVitrum’s office in St. Petersburg.

 

 

 

During the meeting was organized a round table for the discussion of strategic cooperation. Today BioVitrum with the Medical College of St. Petersburg State University is launching a new basic educational program for college students: "Laboratory diagnostics in Nursing". On the basis of this program in the future will be open a course of additional vocational training for laboratory-histology. Also there was discussed a topical issue - reagents production for laboratory diagnostics.

In the frames of the visit were demonstrated BioVitrum’s own developments and products: HistoViewer  – software and hardware complex, which enables to visualize and analyze high resolution scanning of histological samples on a large touch screen; manual for technicians, entitled "Histotech's summary" and training class of company for further educational courses, equipped with modern equipment, reagents and methodological materials.  

   

Anatoly Zhirkov visited BioVitrum’s own production and examined the technological capabilities of the company. Today BioVitrum produces more than 100 products for histology at its facility in St. Petersburg.
