On the 22^th of December, 2015 BioVitrum organized excursion for pupils of the Small Medical Faculty in the National Center for Clinical morphological diagnosis, which is headed by the doctor of the highest qualification category, MD Vorobyov Sergey.

Grade 9^th students of St. Petersburg schools are studying optional medical subjects in the Palace of Youth Creativity, and choosing their future medical specialties.

BioVitrum together with the National Center of Clinical morphological diagnosis held for pupils exciting event - acquaintance with the physician-pathologist profession. Sergey Vorobyov, the leading expert in endocrine abnormalities, and Elizabeth Razvarina told about the pathologist profession and dispelled an established myth. For about 80% of the time the pathologist is engaged in vivo diagnosis of biopsy material - explores the pathological changes in the tissues of various organs. As a result pathologists make diagnosis for hospital patients and cancer agencies.

The final part of acquaintance with a possible future profession was an excursion in the modern histology laboratory with the technology demonstration. We are glad to note the high interest in the profession, and the involvement of the younger generation during the event.
