Managers of pathoanatomical departments which use Xpress (which today is more than 20 laboratories) composed the main audience of this meeting. At the center of attention were the special features of Xpress for the automation of the histological process.  Some of the main experts were present from our partners at Sakura including Peter Paul Jansen, head of work with key clients, and Pien Van der Heijden, application specialist for Xpress. In the course of the lively discussion participants in the encounter shared their own experiences of working with this equipment.

Head of the pathology laboratory at the center, Dmitry Konovalov, delivered the key report “Changes in laboratory management from using Xpress”. It described the management workflow of using the contemporary histological SMART- laboratory.The theme of the complete automation of the histological process was continued by our partners from Aperio (USA): Abraham Kurian, manager of business development, and Sunita Mistry, softwar specialist for image analysis. During the event there was also a practical-scientific conference “pathology today - immunomorphology and molecular genetics in practical diagnostics” in the hall of the center.
