On 24 — 26 of May 2016 in Nizhny Novgorod was hosted the 17^th International Medical Forum "Quality and safety of medical care". The event was held with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Administration and the Government of Nizhny Novgorod.

In the forum took part representatives of the Ministry of Health and health administrating authorities of the Privolzhsky Federal District and other regions of the Russia Federation, heads of health facilities, employees of research institutes and medical schools, RAMS members, clinicians, international and local medical associations and scientific societies, rehabilitation centers, clinics, manufacturers of medical equipment, instruments, drugs and other.

Medical Forum traditionally consisted of the exposition and the scientific sessions.

 

 

The 25^th specialized exhibition "Medicine +" covered almost all modern technologies and innovations in the field of public health. At the event were presented medical instruments, medicines, diagnostic and laboratory equipment, disinfectants and
personal hygiene product, medical clothing and footwear, orthopedic products, medical cosmetics, convalescent facilities and others.

 

 

BioVitrum took an active part in the exhibition. At the booth of BioVitrum was presented a complete company's products list for Microbiology. In particular, everyone could get acquainted with demo samples:

• reagents and consumables for microbiological researches of Oxoid (UK);
• nutrient media ready-to-use in Petri dishes of "Sredoff" (Russia).

 

BioVitrum specialists presented a complex solution for laboratory research automation by such huge companies like Biomerieux (France) and Alifax (Italy). At the BioVitrum booth were also demonstrated sterilizers of Astell Scientific (UK), recognized world leader of sterilization equipment.

 

Attention of the participants was attracted by the BioVitrum Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) «LabForce». On the specific modules of LIS for Microbiology the participants had an opportunity to model the workflow process (all stages of material flow: from registration to the result getting). The visitors of the BioVitrum booth were able to appreciate the usability of the system and discussed the specific tasks of their laboratories.

 

During the conference, was provided a round table of chief specialists in the laboratory diagnosis of Volga Regions, which was attended by over 100 persons.
