The 18th International Exhibition of health care products, medical equipment and medicines Zdravookhraneniye-2008 held at Expocentre from 8 to 12 December 2008 was the key event of the Russian HealthCare Week that was held at Expocentre and ended on December 12. This exhibition is considered one of the most important among the Expocentre's specialized shows.

The exhibition is organized under the supervision of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Government of Moscow and supported by the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow. Zdravookhraneniye is a part of social program aimed at improving medical services delivered to the people of Russia.

BioVitrum booth doubled in 2008 as compared to 2007 retaining its location in the second hall of showroom 2. The arrangement of the booth made our company stand out from other exhibitors attracting visitors.

Together with the equipment, BioVitrum booth displayed full range of modern consumables for histology and pathomorphology(Menzel, BioOptica) and Hygeco autopsy instruments (France).

Among the visitors to our booth (generally practicing histologists, medical scientists and our regional partners) we would like to specially point out the visit of Mr. Kenichi Matsumoto, Chairman & CEO of Sakura companies. BioVitrum is an exclusive distributor of Sakura Finetek Europe B.V. in Russia.

During operation of Zdravookhraneniye-2008 (8-12 December) our booth was visited by a significant number of experts who showed intending and interest in cooperation with regard to supply of equipment for histologic and pathology laboratories and for forensic medical examination bureaus.
