BioVitrum took part in the 50th scientific conference of forensic pathologist in Tatarstan republic and the Volga-Ural association with international participation of forensic experts
On 23rd of June, 2016 was held the anniversary 50th scientific conference of Tatarstan forensic experts with the leading specialists participation of the Forensic Medicine Association from Russia, the UK and Germany. The event was devoted to organizational and practical aspects of forensic doctor work during the health consequences liquidation of the emergencies with the massive life loss.
A. Vafin, the Minister of Health of the Tatarstan republic pointed out the importance of the conference theme and the significance of all services and agencies co-ordination: the effective and rapid information exchange and synchronized operations of a large number of people in emergency situations. The victims number and psychological state, as well as their relatives depend on the clarity and effectiveness of each member disaster management.
The scientific program was attended by the heads of expert institutions and doctors — forensic experts from the regional offices. They shared their experience in terms of man-made disasters, terrorism acts and air crashes. The speakers made an analysis and the experience assessment of the forensic medical service organizational work in emergency. The participants also shared their methods of research and dead bodies identification, forensic medical examination algorithms of persons affected by the disaster.
At the conference BioVitrum presented equipment and reagents for morgues of Russian company "Tanartis" (a division of "BioVitrum"), which got a high quality evaluation of the Russian Society of Pathologists and the recommendation for using the products of "Tanartis" in all the pathological laboratories in the Russian Federation.
In the product portfolio of "Tanartis" are dozens of ready-made solutions for equipping of pathological-morphological compartments and flexible approach to each customer. The own design office allows to create custom solutions in the shortest possible time. Product quality is ensured by a high-tech, equipped production and qualified staff.
In 2016 "Tanartis" production was presented in the international arena - in the framework of the 13th European Congress on Digital Pathology (ECDP 2016).
At the "BioVitrum" booth were demonstrated products, equipment and reagents for pathology studies, including own company’s histological stains.
For conference participants, was organized a special tour to the Republican Bureau of Forensic Medicine of Tatarstan Ministry of Health. The guests visited the pathological-anatomical department, equipped by "Tanartis" mortuary production. They were able to see the products quality and the variability of solutions. There were also demonstrated the molecular genetic laboratory and a new modular space with a CT scanner, where in the near future will be held X-ray diagnostic.
