BioVitrum and the Alferov Fund open new direction of "Life Science" to provide grants for the development of science and education

It is a great honor to be a partner of the Alferov Foundation, and we are proud that together we will develop the new branch "Life Science".  Alferov's Foundation for the Development of Science and Education was established on February 23, 2001 by Zhores Alferov to combine intellectual, financial, and organizational efforts for the development of Russian science and education. To date the Fund has not been represented by the direction of Life Science.

"For the public, Zhores is the voice of Russian science. Over the years we have seen and heard about his activities and the Alferov Foundation and we are proud that we can contribute and become partners in the creation of this new direction - Life Science. We are pleased that our programs are designed not only to support the science of today but also the future of science, by developing interest in research among schoolchildren", said Mr. Tsimberg during a speech he gave.
We sincerely hope that this joint program will contribute to the development of science, and will support the most talented young scientists, students and teachers in the field of biology. The Life Science Collaborative Program will start from 2014. They include two large areas:
1. Charitable programs
Scholarship programs for students (biology)
Scholarship programs for teachers (biology)
2 . Grants to young scientists in the direction of Biology (Life Science)
This is not the first project of BioVitrum that will support Russian science and education. In September 2013 BioVitrum helped open "Morphology and physiology of the human" at Krasnoyarsk Medical University and the White Sea Biological Station.  As well Moscow State University became the first Russian educational and research institution in which BioVitrum opened training laboratories for Nikon light microscope.

We believe that if every company will contribute to the development of education and science, together we will achieve impressive results!
