BioVitrum was the general sponsor of the IX Plenum of the Russian Society of Pathologists

The IX Plenum of the Russian Society of Pathologists was held on 20 – 21 of May, 2016 in Arkhangelsk on the basis of the Northern State Medical University. Participants of the event were the Presidency and the Council of Elders of the Russian Society of Pathologists (RSP) members, as well as leading experts in pathological anatomy from different regions of Russian Federation. Total the IX Plenum joined about 200 specialists.

    

Georgii A. Frank, chief specialist in pathologic anatomy of the Russian Ministry of Health, the first vice-president of the Russian Society of Pathologists, academician, opened the Plenum and made a welcoming speech, wishing all participants success in their work.

                           

In the Plenum program were examined such topical issues as:

 

  • Digestive system pathology questions;
  • Pathology services organization (including clinical guidelines review for the formulation of digestive organs pathologic diagnosis, infectious and parasitic diseases).

 

As the Plenum part was held the specialized exhibition. At the BioVitrum’s booth was presented a full product portfolio of the company in Morphology: reagents and consumables for complex automation of all laboratory processes, equipment from leading manufacturers and also products for immunohistochemistry.




BioVitrum’s experts demonstrated NanoZoomer (Hamamatsu, Japan) - a new scanning system of histological micropreparations in high-resolution.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All the participants of the Plenum were able to get acquainted in practice with innovative visualization system — hardware-software complex Histoviewer. Everyone could test the system and evaluate its functionality for the preparation analysis and ensure quick and easy morphometry.

 

    

    

In the framework of the IX Plenum was organized the competition for young pathologists. The tender commission presidium of the Russian Society of Pathologists defined 5 winners: specialists from Moscow, Smolensk, Yekaterinburg and Berdsk (Novosibirsk region). Total for the competition were presented 20 researches.
